Five strategies for Spring cleaning for more space, clarity, and focus.
- Declutter Your Home and Office.
Everything you own that you no longer use. Sell it, or toss it. If you don’t love it anymore sell or give it to someone who might absolutely love it or need it. Recycling is also an option as long as it gets out of your home or office. Release them with gratitude to create more space for the things you need in your life and when you create space for things you need in your life they will begin to show up.
2. Declutter your thoughts.
We cram our heads with so many useless or harmful thoughts that don’t serve us in any way. We read too many gossips on social media and we get caught up in the negative news cycle. We watch TV shows that don’t uplift and enlighten or educate us in any way. We spend too much time listening to our inner critic who tells us we will never be good enough or we are not worthy enough to achieve our dreams. So our minds become crowded with useless, self-defeating thoughts that hold us back from showing our best selves now.
A great way to declutter your mind is via regular meditation. With Daily meditations, it can change Your life. Meditations can help you give up negative thoughts and focus on inspiring, motivating thoughts that spur you on to your best self.
3. Declutter your Diet.
Many of us consume too much food and too much drink that don’t give us the nourishment and the nutrients we need to thrive. I encourage you to spend more time reviewing your eating and drinking habits. Eliminate foods and drinks that are not meeting your nutritional needs and replace them with healthy foods that will give more energy and improve your mental and physical well being now.
4. Declutter Your Friends
Take time to examine in your life, who are those that are always dragging you down and preventing you from showing up as your best self. I am talking of people who are always negative and never support or encourage you. Maybe they laugh at your dreams and say you are crazy for having them.
Maybe they are threatened by your desire to improve yourself. Eliminate people like this from your life. Or at least limit your exposure to them because they are holding you back from unlocking your full potential. When you eliminate them from your life, you create space for the right people who support and encourage you to come around. This will enable you
5. Declutter your Goals and Dreams
Take a Good look at all the Big Goals you are pursuing. Chances are you can’t achieve all of them at once. For Example, as you may find out you can’t write a novel, and take your family for Europe or Dubai for a vacation and start a Business at the same time. Focus on the important 20% goals that can give you 80% results.
